Nearly a tenth of all broadcast and cable TV shows are viewed online, according to data from the Convergence Consulting Group. In a new report, titled "The Battle for the North American Couch Potato," the consulting firm says that web-based TV viewing is growing steadily. Advertisers, however, have not yet caught up with the web viewing audience, although it, too, will grow considerably through 2011.
